Services Director
The Art
Museum of Western Virginia in Roanoke seeks an individual to manage its volunteer program
and
to promote excellent visitor services.
Ideal candidate will be a
high-energy, detail-oriented multi-tasker who can develop excellent
relations
with a variety of individuals.
Must be computer proficient
in Word, Excel, and various database systems (we're in the middle
of a
conversion).
Full time with competitive salary and
benefits.
Over fifty years old, AMWV is
currently completing a $66,000,000 capital campaign to build a
new art
museum to serve the 40 counties of
Western Virginia. In addition
to holdings of 19th and 20th century
American art, significant
modern and contemporary art and design and decorative arts, the Art
Museum's
collection includes European and
ancient Mediterranean art.
